Project Description: The customer wanted
a full cover that would be used when his
2022 Midnight Express 43 was moored at
the dock. He did not want fasteners installed
into the fi berglass and was also concerned
about maintaining the paint job and
requested a soft material. The boat had
an open bow with seating and upholstery
that needed to be covered along with the
cockpit area, but the customer did not
want a rachet on the full boat cover, which
would make it diffi cult to take dock lines and
fenders on and off the boat after docking.
SeaSucker suction cups were sourced, fi eld
tested and were a perfect fi t. The boat was
measured with a Prodim Proliner and the
cover was designed in CAD. The cover was fi t
over the bow, secured to the T-top with straps
and held in place with 17 SeaSucker suction
cups. Softouch SD fabric, which has a soft
underside, was used to protect the paint
on the hull along with the upholstery when
taking the cover on and off.

Project Description: The project was a
custom travel boat cover with a stripe
down the middle for a 1987 20-foot
Condor jet boat that the client was
restoring to honor his brother's memory.
The team decided to go with the paint
design of the boat and ended up
with 53 individual pieces of Aqualon
Edge Soft. To keep the stripes smooth
and fl at, there could not be any pleats
running through them, so the steering
wheel was booted and the pleats were
strategically run around the motor
area. The black vent cap was painted
white, and 1-inch webbing straps were
used to create a hidden pouch on the
side of the cover that holds the rope
ratchet. Since the client was a military
man, two patriotic embroidered
patches were added on the exhausts.
The client loved the project and, most
importantly, he said his brother Mark
would have loved the cover too. All the
small details made the biggest impact.
It was a very rewarding project.

Project Description: The clients wanted
a breathable full cover for their Sea
Ray SPX 210 for towing and covering
their boat on the water. All clamps and
the tank fi ller needed to be accessible.
For covering the boat in the harbor,
the clients needed to be able to stand
on the bathing platform. Therefore,
webbing and one ratchet on each side
was used (fastened to the towing hooks
below the platform) with Stayputs for
fastening. For protecting the platform,
the clients zip on the separate cover
and just pull it over. Due to its snug fi t,
no snaps or bungee cord is needed.
Because it is diffi cult to reach the
ratchet below the platform on the water,
the design makes it possible for the
customers just to use bungee cords to
tension the full cover backward.
