LEADING EDGE Comprehensive Cloud-Based Asset-Health System The Fluke Connect Assets system can make effective predictive- and condition-based-maintenance (PdM and CBM) a reality for all plants, regardless of size, location, and/or maintenance/reliability headcount. This portfolio of wireless software and test tools provides a comprehensive view of critical asset-health details on all equipment in a plant, including baseline, historical, and current-measurement data; current status; and past-inspection data. Incorporating what the company says is the industry's only one-touch measurement transfer from more than 30 Fluke Connect-enabled instruments, the system eliminates error-prone manual measurement recording. The cloud-based system is reportedly simple to set up, without IT support. The software is the first of its type to offer results across multiple devices, including smart phones and Web browsers. Its intuitive display of multiple measurements enhances the use of data and the ability to identify problems. Mobile productivity features include alarms when measurements exceed user-defined thresholds and TrendItPlus, which allows multiple-session graphing and reports from the field for compliance and proof-of-work purposes. Wherever cellular service or a Wi-Fi connection is available, users can capture data with their smartphones using AutoRecord to document measurements, then upload it to Fluke Cloud storage for sharing and analysis. The CU 352 intuitive graphical-interface controller makes the system userfriendly, while ensuring efficient operation. Using actual pump-curve data, the intelligent unit helps optimize energy consumption by controlling/ staging the numbers and speed of the pumps in operation, and continually adjusts system performance to meet variations in demand.
