Inclination Sensors
Gefran inclination sensors use MEMS technology (microelectromechanical
devices integrated onto a single silicon chip) to
provide reported reliable and precise tilt-angle measurement with
respect to gravity.
The sensors are said to be rugged and suitable for the harshest
environments. In an encapsulated, thermoplastic housing with a
IP67/69K rating, they are available with an integrated cable or M12
quick-disconnect. M12 quick-disconnect models are fully redundant,
with two sensors in one housing.

DIGITAL SENSOR MODULE
A 16-channel NAMUR module with integrated count
function is available for the SIMATIC S7-1500. The
module extends the existing portfolio and is said to
allow an easy migration of existing S7-300 systems
and opening new applications. Multiple terminals
for outfeed of the 8.2 V NAMUR voltage allow
multiconductor connection of the sensor directly to
the module.
