GildiNG eyes aNd lips in coppers, golds and silvers isn’t a particularly new beauty phenomenon, but bumping the trend a reflective edge. “Metallic shadows when used dry can be beautiful and shimmery, but they lack that chrome, solid quality of a shadow applied wet or a cream shadow,” shares makeup artist Robert Hensley. and the summer season is the perfect time to test the boundaries of luxe metallics. “Think about the season: the heat, the sun, the bright colors. Molten-like metallics play off of everything that we love about summer. They’re fun, sexy and brilliantly bold,” he stresses.
