Over the past 30 years, CIMA+ has grown across the country
through its work in the public and private sectors. In that
time, the company's expansion west has led to an increased
emphasis on private sector projects. These include industrial
facilities, oil and gas, and mining. They've also moved beyond
energy, working on notable buildings, renewables, and transportation
projects in Alberta.

" While we started out in Quebec, we are leveraging our
three decades of experience to help us grow out west, " says
Kelly Yuzdepski, regional executive vice president for western
Canada.
CIMA+
is an employee-owned, thoroughly Canadian
firm with over 30 years of consulting engineering
know-how. Since its 1990 establishment in Quebec,
the company has branched out to more than 30 offices across
the country. They employ over 2,800 people, with ambitions to
double their workforce over the next few years.
CIMA+ began as a consulting engineering firm; through the
years, the company has expanded to include a slew of other
offerings. Commissioning, 3D scanners and drones, geomatics
and surveying, and project management are just a few of
the additional services the firm provides.
In the decade he's been with CIMA+, Partner and Senior Project
Manager David Findlay has helped foster the company's
western growth, and watched as it successfully moved into
new arenas.
" The company has changed quite dramatically. We have expanded
into many different locations and expanded our service
offerings all over, " Findlay says.
" With our 30+ offices across Canada, CIMA+ has been extremely
adaptable, and we are able to provide local services
to our clients. And I think that's a true testament to what we
as a company are willing to do to expand and change with the
times, " he says.
