The first course (Integrated Site & Building Water Management Systems) will be launched at our Regional Conference and Training in Washington, D.C. on June 1st, 2010. In 2009, our statistics showed that quite a large number of participants in our green roof training courses had traveled considerable distances to get their training. As a result, we experimented with the “Boot Camp” concept, running all four of our courses that provide the knowledge ongratulations to the more than 250 accredited Green Roof Professionals (GRPs) who successfully passed the exam in 2009. In order to assist you in staying current on green roof best practices and to enable you to accumulate the necessary continuing education credits, we are pleased to 32 LIVING ARCHITECTURE MONITOR for the accreditation program consecutively over a weekend. This concept met with such an enthusiastic response that we have decided to use Green Roof Boot Camps as the primary course delivery model for 2010. This does not mean that you have to sign up for all four courses however. The number of courses you take will be up to you, but for those wishing to move more rapidly to become a Green Roof Professional (GRP) then this may be a preferred, fast-track option.
