FEATURE In the four years that I have been living and working in Ontario, the Government of Canada, PEO, and OSPE have offered me many opportunities for professional development. I am truly grateful for the support that I have received and am looking forward to giving back to the engineering community. One of my goals is to empower and advocate for women in engineering. I'm hoping to encourage young and aspiring women to discover their passion, to overcome the gender obstacles some experience. I would like to help by developing activities that encourage women to study science and engineering. Knowing that my work can add value to society as well as to the engineering community, is very important to me. December 2017 Professional Practice Examination (PPE) I am scheduled to write the PPE in December of 2017. The OSPE program "PPE Examination Skills Preparation for International Engineering Graduates" that I attended has helped me prepare for this exam and I feel confident in successfully writing the PPE. 30 The VOICe December 2017 2018-> Professional Engineer My goal is to obtain my P.Eng. designation within 2018. I am already preparing my Professional Experience Record and am planning to send my draft to PEO for annual review as an EIT. OSPE's "Preparing your PEO Experience Record" workshop and the presentation on how to present your Work Experience Record by PEO's Licensure Manager at the "2nd Annual OSPE EIT Summit" were substantially valuable resources and helped me considerably in preparing my PEO Experience Record.
