Alumni Candidates for the Ryerson Board of Governors

Vote for the candidate of your choice. Voting is available June 19 to June 30, 2017

Milan Amini

Milan Amini is a recent graduate from the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University, where he studied Business Management and majored in Business Law. He is now on rotation in HSBC Bank Canada’s Commercial Banking Global Graduate Programme, which has seen him hold various positions within the Commercial Banking team, the Global Trade and Receivables Finance team as well as the Financial Crime Compliance team. Grateful for the opportunities he’s had, Milan gives back by frequently guest lecturing at Ryerson University as well as at Junior Achievement. Milan looks to inspire recent graduates to continually push for better.

Meghan Rodrigues

Meghan Rodrigues graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Journalism in 2003. While at Ryerson she served as a member of Senate on the Appeals Committee. In 2007, she graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Laws. Meghan was called to the Ontario bar in 2008. She then completed a Master of Laws at the University of Toronto in 2010. Meghan has served as an alumni member of the Ryerson Senate and as a Board Director of a Toronto daycare since 2015. She works in-house as a lawyer for a health care regulator.

Ryan Rodrigues

Ryan is a proud Ryerson graduate. He is also an MBA graduate from the Ivey Business School and he earned his bachelors degree from Huron University College at Western University. He has completed governance programs from the Institute of Corporate Directors and the Stanford Rock Center for Corporate Governance - Rotman Program. Ryan has been a member of the Executive MBA Council Board of Trustees, the Canadian Council for the Advancement in Education, the Institute for Corporate Directors, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Canadian Association of University Business Officers, and the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.

How do I know if I am eligible to vote?

You are eligible to vote if you are a graduate of Ryerson degree, diploma, or certificate program approved by the Senate; and no longer registered as a Ryerson student.

How do I vote?

For information about the voting process, please visit the Board of Governors Elections website in early June at ryerson.ca/governors/elections.

When can I vote?

Voting will begin on June 19, 2017 at 8 am and end on June 30, 2017 at 4:30 pm. You can vote any time during the voting period.
