Jacqueline Galita
Nursing '00

Jacqueline completed her
master's of science at the
University of Windsor in
2008, her oncology nursing
certification in 2009, and
her PhD at the University
of Toronto in 2017. She has
served as an associate delegate
and Ontario regional delegate
with the Canadian Nursing
Students' Association. In
2018, she was appointed a
postdoctoral fellow at McGill
University and is now an
assistant professor at Queen's
University.

Phill received the Volunteer
Recognition Medal from
Elizabeth Dowdeswell,
Lieutenant Governor of
Ontario, for his work with
GlobalMedic. He was one of 31
volunteers honoured for their
volunteerism efforts. "It is
both an honour and humbling
to receive this recognition,"
he writes. "To be included
with such remarkable people,
who have given so much to
those in their times of need, is
heartening to me." Phill has
volunteered with GlobalMedic
since 2016, packing and
delivering aid, and taking

photos and videos to document
volunteer efforts. Phill has
enjoyed a long career in media,
including positions as staff
photographer/associate photo
editor at Maclean's and a
dozen years as deputy photo
editor at the National Post.
Scott Stevenson
Business Management '96

Scott is a content specialist,
with a 15-year career of omnichannel publishing (print,
digital, social). He writes:
"I'm fortunate to have given
back to a game I love, enjoying
an 11-year tenure as a minor
hockey head coach for the
Oakville Rangers, winning
three OMHA Championships
and an International Silver
Stick Championship." He

manager for the Hotel E, a
71-room boutique hotel in
Sonoma County. Located in
an iconic beaux-arts structure
that has been a landmark in
downtown Santa Rosa since
1908, the hotel features a
rooftop deck and café, a
restaurant serving classic
American food, and a lobby
wine bar.

In addition to his theatre
work backstage, Patrick has
published 10 books, both
fiction and non-fiction. He
is also a professional artist,
