Administration and Information Management Class of ’05:
“Back in 1998, a group of students from various backgrounds formed a friendship,” writes Rina (Aresta) Florio. “They called themselves the ‘Rye Gang’ and were present in all of the most celebrated events of their lives: milestone birthdays, weddings, births, and sadly, even deaths. Though distance, family obligations, and varying career paths have replaced meeting for ‘group work’ at good old Oakham House, these individuals have made it a point to get together twice a year to catch up and network. This year marks the 20th anniversary for this very special bunch.”

In 2008, Cyrus was named among the Ontario Hostelry Institute’s Top 30 Under 30. He has also served as president of the Ryerson Hospitality Alumni Association.
