Aaron Sacks, P.E., a geotechnical
engineer with MRCE
since 2006, has been
promoted to senior
associate. He started
his career in MRCE's
New York City office
where he managed the in-house soils
laboratory from 2013 to 2016. Since
2018, he has managed the Washington,
D.C., office. Sacks serves on DFI's
Structural Slurry Wall and Seepage
Control Committee

JD Fields & Company has announced a milestone in its North American
distribution partnership with ArcelorMittal in the form of the delivery of its first
HZ-M high modulus combi-walls for a new bulkhead project on the east coast.
The delivery consists of 710 ft (216 m) of bulkhead for a project contracted
through Weeks Marine that is expected to last three to four months. Totaling
around 500 tons of HZ-M, the Greenville Yard Bulkhead Project consists entirely
of ArcelorMittal's combi-wall system that will enhance the contractor 's
waterfront facility.
