Watch and Learn
Are you interested in innovative pile driving solutions, testing methods or
interesting case histories with information you can apply on your jobsites today?
Maybe you need professional development hours (PDHs) to renew your
professional engineering license? Or perhaps you'd just like to learn about what's
new and exciting in the world of deep foundations, ground improvement and
underground construction? DFI is expanding its online offerings and resource
library with new webinars and options to view for free, or for a nominal fee, to
obtain a PDH certificate.
We are also offering online courses, including one on working platform design
and verification, recently delivered in December and February. Plus, all
conference proceedings since 2020 are available and include both the technical
papers and recordings of the presentations. This means that if you were unable to
attend a recent event such as SuperPile, the DFI Annual Conference on Deep
Foundations, S3 Conference or our joint conferences, you can now purchase access
to these presentations at www.dfi.org/publications/publication-store.
DFI has also expanded our webinar offerings and we hope you've already had the
chance to attend one or more of these. Our recent ITS Money webinars, produced by
our Testing and Evaluation Committee since 2019, have been created to inform our
industry on how increased foundation testing optimizes design and construction
procedures, saving you money on projects. The full catalog of webinar recordings is
available at
www.dfi.org/its-money-2022 and each is accompanied by an
informational sheet that you can download and include in a client proposal.
New this year is a series programmed by our Driven Pile Committee titled
!mpact, which highlights innovative developments, case studies and current
practices focused on driven pile foundations. Future webinars will discuss signal
matching as it relates to vibratory drivers and extractors, design-wise approaches,
advice from contractors on noise and vibration, marine foundations, and electric
equipment with a focus on the !mpact on construction site operations.
