Dieseko Group has appointed David
Kesser president of PVE Equipment
USA, the company's wholly owned
North American subsidiary located in
Jacksonville, Florida.
Kesser has been in the
equipment industry for
17 years serving in
various executive roles
including president and
board member for international
companies in the capital goods and
manufacturing industries. Kesser
attended The Citadel Military College in
Charleston, South Carolina. Predecessor
Herald Wattenberg is moving back to
the Netherlands to manage the Dieseko
Group' global offshore division.
Scott Webster, P.E., has been appointed
president of GRL Engineers, succeeding
Patrick Hannigan, P.E. Webster,
previously vice president managing
GRL's global offshore and North
Carolina-based regional operations,
now oversees GRL's 14 offices, leading
the management team, engineers and
staff in providing its deep foundation
testing services both in the U.S. and
globally. He has vast experience in
providing testing and engineering
analyses of deep foundations for
structures worldwide. He has written
and presented dozens of technical
papers on deep foundations at various
industry events throughout his tenure.
In 2019, Webster
was elected treasurer
of the Pile Driving Contractors
Association,
t he s ame y e a r he
received the Professional
Engineer's Service Award. He is
also a member of the International
Association of Foundation Drilling
(ADSC), the American Society of Civil
Engineers, DFI and the National Society
of Professional Engineers.
After 11 years, Hannigan
is stepping down
a s GRL p r e s i d en t .
During his tenure he
guided GRL into new
areas of deep foundations
testing. His expertise and leadership
have resulted in significant growth
of GRL's technical capabilities, areas of
practice, industry influence and branch
locations. Hannigan was instrumental
in GRL's bi-directional static load
testing and top-load bi-directional
testing initiatives and development.
During his 45-year career he has
authored numerous technical papers
covering all aspects of deep foundations
testing and analyses. He is the lead
author of the 1997, 2006 and 2016
editions of the Federal Highway
Administration's manual for Design
and Construction of Driven Pile
Foundations. Hannigan will continue
with GRL as a senior consultant.
GeoStructures announced staff
changes across North America.
Mike Cowell, P.E.,
currently president and
CEO of GeoStructures, a
Terratest Company, has
been promoted to the
Terratest USA executive
board. The board oversees all
Terratest's holdings in the U.S., which
currently consists of GeoStructures and
ASAP Installations. In his capacity on the
board Cowell is responsible for helping
each company grow its business
organically and growing the group
through future acquisitions in North
America. Cowell founded GeoStructures
in 1995, is a registered geotechnical
engineer, holds multiple patents in soil
reinforcement technologies and is a civil
engineering graduate of Clarkson and
Cornell Universities.
Larry Moore, P.E., currently chief
operations officer of GeoStructures, has
b e en p r omo t e d t o
president and CEO,
r e p l a c i ng Cowe l l .
Moore will provide
overall leadership and
strategic direction to
the firm. Moore is a graduate of The
Catholic University of America where
he earned a bachelor's degree in civil
eng i nee r i ng and cons t ruc t i on
management. In 1995, he earned a
master's degree in civil engineering
concentrating in structural and
geotechnical engineering from Cornell
University. He is also a graduate of The
Executive Program from the University
of Virginia Darden School of Business
and is a registered professional
engineer in the states of California,
Virginia, Maryland and the District of
Columbia. Moore has served as the
president and member of the board of
directors for the Pile Driving Contractors
Association and is a member of The
Moles and DFI.
Tom Prozinski, currently chief
revenue officer, has
been promoted to chief
operations officer at
GeoStructures, replacing
Moore, who has
been promoted to CEO.
Prozinski has been in the construction
industry for more than 30 years in
engineering, sales, operations and
management. His history as a leader
will enable him to effectively carry out
the plans and procedures of the owners
and CEO, as well as to implement new
strategies to improve efficiency and
communication across all departments
of GeoStructures. Prozinski is a
mechanical engineering graduate of the
University of Massachusetts.
