WHAT's NEw in
Lancaster County
Enjoy the Susquehanna National

Discovery Boat Tour on their historic
1912 electric boat " Chief Uncas " and
learn about the natural & cultural history
of the county's western border - the
mighty Susquehanna and its rivertowns.
Celebrate " Christmas In The Shire " ,
a new magical outdoor event on
the grounds of the Pennsylvania
Renaissance Faire from late November
to mid-December. Experience a
traditional Yuletide celebration with a
visit from Father Christmas, seasonal
entertainments, idyllic decorations,
distinctive merchants, themed foods,
and estate-crafted beverages.
Explore the new and expanded stores
at Kitchen Kettle Village, including The
Jewelry Bar, Happy Camper, The Olive
Basin, and the Village Soap Company

Slated to open in the spring, the new
Bird-in-Hand Artisan Village will feature
unique retail in a historic building,
anchored by Creative Rustic Furniture
and full of additional high-quality,
locally-made goods. And while you're
there, check out the latest show from
Bird-in-Hand Stage, " Dear Soldier Boy "
- a feel-good musical comedy running
from early April to late July.
Lancaster City has lots new going for it,
including the distinctive bar & smallplates
of Proof Lancaster, the upscale
dining of 401 Prime, and A Concrete
Rose's cool micro-winery & boutique
bookstore. Visit these spots while
