We're living in a world that's more economically interdependent
than ever, and more enmeshed by data than ever. Meanwhile, the
problems of the future are getting more urgent; we're already living
through a global pandemic of unprecedented scale. And the next few
years will be critical for making decisions about climate, geopolitics,
labor economies, and more to achieve the best possible-or least
damaging-future for the most people. While emerging technology
is often cited as a problem we face, it also offers tremendous opportunities
to facilitate solving human problems at scale more effi ciently
while offering better human connectedness. In her keynote presentation,
Kate O'Neill will offer her take on a global transformation of
technology and beyond that keeps humans at the center.

K02 - Healthcare Design Magazine
Awards Luncheon
Location: Grand Ballroom
Jennifer Kovacs Silvis, Editor-in-Chief, Healthcare
Design magazine
Open to all attendees, Healthcare Design magazine will honor
the winners of its annual competitions during this luncheon. Editor-in-Chief
Jennifer Kovacs Silvis will introduce the most recent
winners of the Design Showcase, Remodel/Renovation Competition,
Rising Star Awards, and The HCD 10. The program will share details
on their impressive achievements, while also recognizing past winners
who haven't yet been celebrated in person due to the COVID-19
pandemic.

K03 - The Center for Health Design Awards and
Changemaker Keynote
Location: Grand Ballroom
Two special awards will be given by The Center for Health Design.
The Changemaker Award honors individuals or organizations that
have demonstrated exceptional ability to change the way healthcare
facilities are designed and built, and whose work has broad impact on
the advancement of healthcare design. This year, George Tingwald,
MD, AIA, ACHA, administrative director, medical planning at Stanford
Health Care is the Changemaker Award recipient.
The Russ Coile Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes individuals
who have dedicated their careers to the advancement of the healthcare
design fi eld and celebrates their signifi cant contributions. This
year's Lifetime Achievement award goes to Frank Zilm, D.Arch, FAIA,
FACHA, Chester Dean Director of the Institute of Health & Wellness
Design at the University of Kansas School of Architecture & Design.
