It's Springtime in New York and the design community is together again!
We welcome you to the Javits Center to see the new products and to
meet the creators shaping contemporary design.
Collectively, ICFF and WantedDesign Manhattan 2022 present more than
370 established and emerging design brands from Argentina, Australia,
Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Congo, Croatia, Denmark,
France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland,
Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, UK, and US.
This May, ICFF presents two activation spaces: Oasis developed by New
York-based interior design firm Float Studio with Normann COPENHAGEN,
Gabriel North America, and Mohawk Carpet, where visitors can reflect
and recharge; and a second by Wescover-a marketplace of unique art
and designs-in collaboration with Fyrn, HACHI Collections, Jill Malek,
Model No., and SEED Design.
At WantedDesign Manhattan, you will find Look Book, a dedicated
program for high-end North American designers, and Launch Pad, an
international platform for emerging designers to introduce new concepts
and showcase prototypes, presented with media partner Design Milk and
sponsored by American Standard.
The Lounge at Wanted Interiors features an indoor-outdoor concept.
Sponsors include wakaNINE, Ligne Roset, Bend Goods, Havwoods, and
3M. As Wanted Interiors' presenting sponsor, Ultrafabrics will bring its UF
Color Lab to WantedDesign Manhattan for the first time.
Beyond taking in all the design resources, head to the Main Stage to
hear the ICFF + WantedDesign Manhattan Talks with a lineup including
MoMA's Paolo Antonelli, and a terrific " Power Couples " series with
George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg of Yabu Pushelberg, Rasmus and Ida
Linea Hildebrand of Friends & Founders, and Eric Höweler and J. Meejin
Yoon of Höweler + Yoon. Oasis and Wescover also present their own popup
talks.
Complementing the trade fair floor experience are two great networking
events: the ICFF + WantedDesign Manhattan Opening Night Party on
Sunday, May 15, hosted at one of the most exciting new event spaces
in New York City, the Javits Rooftop Pavilion and Outdoor Terrace; and
the ICFF Interior Awards on Tuesday, May 17 at Gotham Hall celebrating
2022 Designer of the Year Kia Weatherspoon, NCIDQ, ASID, D.F.A (h.c),
President and Founder, Determined By Design, and honoring projects
across 11 categories.
