My focus prior to the cannabis
world was primarily on regulatory
policy, and that is really helpful.
I come from a very emerging,
embattled industry, primarily
dietary supplements.
It's a little bit like having a
crystal ball and being able to
see a bit in our future as to
what challenges exist with a
regulated herbal product that the
government doesn't like. So that's
been exciting, because the process
that I got to go through in the
supplement industry-and seeing
that industry become normalized
and stabilized-is something
that I look forward to ... with the
cannabis industry as well.

The value of a team (Williams is a
former NFL running back). Being
like one, having one heartbeat
and everyone being on the same

How do you develop a
message that hits home with people
and does things the right way?
A piece of business development
is process development-developing
processes that are sustainable,
that are repeatable and that you
can improve upon.
