Manufacturing has come a long way for marijuana-infused products and concentrates, and there are more ways to extract cannabinoids and terpenes than ever before. The fi nal product typically dictates whether manufacturers choose solventbased or solventless extraction. Other things to consider when manufacturing cannabis products include: * Marijuana consumers' interest is growing in rosin and other whole-plant extracts. * Equipment companies have increased the range of products available, making it easier for cannabis manufacturers to scale as the business grows. * More manufacturers are pressing rosin from kief, not just whole fl ower. * Supercritical CO2 extraction is expensive and time-consuming, but it leaves behind no solvent residue. * Distillate can provide consistency for mass-produced infused products that need to be consistent.
