We have an 8,000-square-foot
facility, and we now have about
4,000 square feet of canopy in
that facility.
When we initially built the
facility, the way it was laid out,
we built four flower rooms of
about 1,000 square feet each,
(but) we didn't have the budget
to finish all four of them.
So, what we decided, with our
investors on board, is that we
would frame out all four flower
rooms but we would only finish
two.
We would make sure that we
were able to succeed as a business
and sell the flower. And as soon
as things stabilized enough, we
would then build out the lab and
the next two rooms.
After speaking with license holders
that were doing strictly delivery
and learning their problems, we
started to see that it was very
inefficient.
They were using a fragmented
software stack: They'd have a POS
over here, an SMS marketing platform
over here and then they have
a dispatch and driver over here.
Nothing was connected to (allow)
managing multiple platforms.
If your data is not connected,
you're not using all of that
purchase data to your advantage
to send personalized marketing
messages to your clients. Instead,
you're just blasting your customers
with irrelevant marketing.
We had the crazy idea of
building an all-in-one deliverymanagement
solution that
encompassed all of those pieces.

We needed to get funding, and
there were so many funds that
were only available if you did not
touch the plant.
So we decided our business
model would be this: We will
sell nonalcoholic beer to our
co-packer; they will use their
license to infuse it and package it
under our specifications and use
our intellectual property to put
the labels on and then distribute
it throughout the dispensaries.
From the outside looking in, it
looks like we have a (marijuana
business) license. But from the
inside looking out, it's clear that
we're an alcohol-free brewing
company.
