Radient Technologies
Selects Interim CEO
Radient Technologies, a producer
of cannabis extracts and packaged
products, appointed Steven
Splinter as interim CEO and
Dimitris Tzanis as director.
Splinter is Radient's founder and
has been with the company for more
than two decades, most recently
as chief technology officer. He has
been a director with the company
since 2018. Splinter was appointed
after Harry Kaura stepped down as
CEO and director of the company to
pursue other business interests.
Tzanis agreed to join the board
as an independent, non-executive
director. He previously served as a
company director from July 2016
until February 2020. He owns a
group of communication companies
based in Switzerland.
Tennessee Hemp Group
Grows Board
The Hemp Alliance of Tennessee
appointed three new members to
its board of directors, including
Jacob Coy, vice president and
hemp banking specialist at First
Citizens Bank; Rochelle Frazier,
an executive assistant at the
Tennessee General Assembly; and
Kevin Schultz, co-founder and
president of The 357 Co.
Coy's background is in business
lending, agricultural banking, international
banking, treasury solutions
and hemp banking compliance.
He has nine years of experience in
financial services.
Frazier has more than 20 years
of experience in Tennessee's
Legislature and has advocated for
the state's hemp industry through
the Tennessee Growers Coalition.
One of Schultz's companies, 357
Hemp Logistics, has specialized
in hemp industry solutions since
2019. Previously, Schultz served as
vice president at Verano Holdings

and as director of wholesale at
PharmaCann, both vertically
integrated cannabis operators.
Erin
Johnson
Check Verified (GCV), a regulatory
software and services company,
hired Staci Firios as chief marketing
officer and Brett Puffenbarger as
vice president of marketing for its
cannabis division.
Firios joins GCV with more than

Top Cannabis Regulator
Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker announced
that Erin Johnson will be the
state's next cannabis regulation
oversight officer, replacing Danielle
Perry.
Most recently, Johnson spent 18
months with Amazon Web Services,
serving as the company's associate
corporate counsel for global
expansion.
Before Amazon, Johnson was
chief of staff with the Illinois
Department of Juvenile Justice. She
also worked as associate general
counsel and chief diversity officer
in the office of former Illinois Gov.
Bruce Rauner, where she provided
legal counsel on matters relating
to public safety, child welfare and
education.
Johnson spent three years as
litigation associate with the former
law firm SmithAmundsen in Chicago
and two years teaching math in
Philadelphia as a part of the Teach
for America program.
This appointment awaits confirmation
in the Illinois Senate.
Fintech Firm Strengthens
Cannabis Team
Bonita Springs, Florida-based Green
25 years of marketing experience,
the majority of which has been
in financial services and fintech.
Most recently, she was the chief
marketing officer of Tier1 Financial
Solutions and previously worked
as the vice president of marketing
capabilities and enablement at
Prudential.
Before joining GCV, Puffenbarger
held a variety of marketing,
sales and business-development
positions. Recently, he co-founded
Good Highdeas, an advisory and
consulting company. He also was
the interim CEO of Buds for Vets,
which helped veterans in Florida
obtain medical marijuana cards.
California Extractor
Boosts Sales Team
Jetty Extracts, a California extract
and vape technology manufacturer,
appointed Robert Wilson as vice
president of sales.
Before joining Jetty, Wilson
served as vice president of sales
and services at Central Coast
Agriculture, where he managed
and grew sales for top cannabis
brands including Raw Garden.
There, he also restructured the sales
organization to reach additional
territories and increase revenue.
Before Central Coast, Wilson
served as senior director of sales
at Hawaii Sea Spirits, where he
developed and implemented
domestic sales strategies.
