How do you direct company
resources to address future
opportunities overseas
relative to opportunities in
Canada today?
Our short-term focus has
been in Canada to strengthen
the foundation we operate
here. We saw opportunity with
this Laurentian acquisition to
strengthen our position in Quebec.
But from there, we're
constantly monitoring what's
going on in different markets
around the world. We're watching
Germany closely to see what
happens there.
We've heard positive messages
out of Japan regarding CBD.
are watching the U.S. market to
see how it unfolds. We will decide
how to invest (and) capitalize
on those changes as legalization
occurs.
In the meantime, we've shipped
to Israel, we're shipping to our
partner in Australia. So we're
taking advantage of international
opportunities from our base in
Canada and watching how the
markets evolve.
