Space you love but didn't design: I recently visited the PUBLIC Hotel in New York City and was so impressed. The way the public spaces are composed is just so well-done and really transports you from the chaos on Chrystie Street to a cool and layered oasis. Favorite design tip or trick? Design in layers, with a strong architectural gesture being fi rst and foremost. Most memorable project: Post Rotterdam. From concept our team worked together to craft a beautiful narrative of the post offi ce that once operated in the building. Career advice for up-and-coming designers? I would advise new designers to be daring. Generate great ideas and never be afraid to voice them.
