URC Total Control Now
Integrates Vantage
TWO BIG BRANDS in the smart home control space have
announced a new phase of collaboration. Starting immediately,
URC and Legrand have created seamless control of Legrand's
Vantage lighting and climate systems with Total Control, URC's
residential and commercial automation platform. This integration
includes native use cases in Total Control's Scenes menus allowing
events to control multiple systems and devices.
Among the key benefi ts of the smart home combination are:
Unifi ed, Seamless Integration - As part of URC's Unifi
ed Modules, users can simply automate multiple climate
zones along with other smart categories like lighting,
security, audio, video, and more.
Create Robust Scenes - With professional programming,
users can launch various scenes. Examples include
a " Good Morning " or " Goodnight " scenes that adjust
climate and lighting devices.
Simplifi ed Automation Programming - Professional
programming can be done quickly and easily.
Seamless Remote Access and Control - Allows for convenient
control on-site, or through the URC user interfaces,
or the Total Control app allows multiple room control.
Voice/Hands-Free Control - URC's voice commands
through Total Control interfaces, Amazon Alexa or Google
Home allow two-way communication.
Energy Effi ciency - Helps homeowners understand
energy usage and ways to reduce costs.
Leviton Launches Salesforce
Visual Remote Assistant
LEVITON HAS ANNOUNCED enhancements to its technical
support capabilities with the introduction of the Salesforce
Visual Remote Assistant. With this software tool, builders, contractors
and owners can connect with Leviton Technical Service
Representatives via video directly from their mobile device.
The software allows technicians, installers or homeowners to
transmit live video and images of technical issues from the fi eld
while consulting with a remote expert.
