SoundVision LLC has been serving the Lake Norman area
of North Carolina since 2010. With a dozen years in custom
integration under its belt, this year has been a particularly
busy and fruitful one for the CE Pro 100 company. " For most
people, the top concern about building a smart home is the
same as it's always been: they just want it to work reliably every
day, " says managing partner and president Mark DiPietro.
These days, thanks to a renovated 3,100-square-foot showroom
that opened in March 2022, SoundVision can demonstrate
to prospective customers the technology solutions and
designs the integrator prides itself on to build those smart
homes. SoundVision can also boast its Home Technology
Association (HTA) Certified status that speaks to the quality
of its work and professionalism. Also in March, buying group
ProSource named the company Member of the Year for the
Southeast region.

The showroom highlights just about everything a homeowner
could ask for, from Samsung designer TVs and Sony projectors,
to surround sound, security systems that integrate door locks,
motorized window shades (Lutron, Hunter Douglas, J Geiger
and ShadeVision offer myriad options), smart thermostats,
automated lighting and more. It's a Control4 Certified Showroom,
and as a Snap One dealer the integrator can highlight
the nearby Charlotte-based manufacturer's breadth of brands,
from automation to AV to the likes of Access Networks and
Araknis networking to WattBox power protection - all
backed by the OvrC remote systems management platform.
" Any time we can integrate a product that reduces service
calls and client interruptions, that's a major win for us, " DiPietro
says. " Once we finish a client's home, we want them to be
able to live in it without interruptions, and without having to
call for help on a regular basis. "
