Please provide a brief overview of your business.
Lewis Audio Video [No. 58 in the CE Pro 100] was founded
40 years ago by Dennis Lewis as a large dish satellite provider,
and now has 28 employees.
Our target demographic is custom builders, architects &
interior designers who embrace high quality projects. We
also partner with real estate agents who specialize in estate
properties and executive and sports figure relocations. As an
integrator specializing in that clientele, " we take the challenge
out of technology and leave the client with the benefits. "
What are some of your business differentiators?
'We do it all' is our mantra, from AV to Security to Lighting and
Shades. We are the one-stop shop. We also install a significant
amount of light commerical, so we can also take care of our
client's office!
Our biggest differentiator is our size. We have an engineer/
ops, two project managers and 13 trucks. It gives us a lot of
flexibility. We even staff a " Help Desk " with a seasoned tech.
This tech answers calls and helps customers with issues, calls
tech support for the field techs (so they can keep working
rather than be on hold), and produces deliverables and engineering
documents. We discovered that this is a very, very
important position.

Snap One Opens New Allnet
Branch as 30th Partner Store
SNAP ONE ANNOUNCED its 30th Partner Store with the
grand opening of a new Allnet-operated location in Hollywood,
Fla. The southeast region location is the ninth new
Snap One Partner Store to open in 2021.
According to Bill Zidek, VP of sales for Snap One, numerous
dealer and vendor partners in the Hollywood, Fla. area were on
site to experience the 15,000-square-foot, warehouse-style
store where all products are in stock and easily accessible.
" It was encouraging to see many of our dealer and vendor
partners attend the event, and it was very fulfilling to mingle
in person after a long hiatus away from events of any type, "
says Zidek. " We're thrilled to see such a warm reception to our
market expansion. "

Bluesalve Partners Brings
On Fidler as Sr. Consultant
BLUESALVE PARTNERS, a business strategic planning and
development company, has announced that Mike Fidler has
joined the firm as a senior consultant.
Fidler has served in senior executive roles with Sony and Pioneer,
and as CEO at Digeo, and throughout his career he has
helped launch organizations including Digital Entertainment
Group (DEG), DVD and Blu-ray Disc and most recently serving
as president of the UHD Alliance.

What stood out from the
Summit sessions you attended?
A major takeaway is that we all
face the same issues more or less
and the collective brain at the
conference can come up with
some innovative solutions.
My biggest takeaway was from the economist [keynote
speaker Lauren Saidel-Baker, ITR Economics]. Make hay now
when times are good and prep hard for the 2030 depression.
Did you make some new relationships to potentially
learn more best practices or other benefits?
Yes, every year I make a couple of friends that I continue to
contact over the years. I particularly like the new peer-to-peer
VIP networking program that brings together a few of us on
Zoom calls to provide further networking and ideas sharing.
What else do you enjoy from this and other CE Summits
you've attended?
The keynotes and panel discussions, they are always interesting
and relevant. I also like that you can have quality one-onone
time with the vendors. I always find awesome solutions
and create new relationships with vendors.
