SURECALL, the Fremont, Calif.-based cellphone signal-booster
manufacturer, introduced the 5X Max. According to the
company, it is the fi rst ERT-enabled commercial booster
designed for large offi ce buildings, residential MDUs, industrial
warehouses along with educational and business campuses.
The high-performance booster features SureCall's proprietary
Extended Range Technology (ERT). This overcomes
signal loss in the outdoor cable by amplifying cell signal at the
strongest point outside the building before sending it inside
for additional amplifi cation.

JOSH.AI IS FORMALLY launching its Android app that has
been purpose-built for the AVA universal remote. Moving
forward, the AVA Remote will be an always-available touch
device companion in the Josh.ai smart home that will
greatly empower clients, according to the company.
A Swiss-American manufacturer of connected home
products, AVA provides professional installers with the
world's fi rst Google-certifi ed remote control. Paired
with Josh, AVA Remote's handheld touchscreen adds a
complementary interface to AI systems that includes a
dedicated " Speak to Josh " microphone icon embedded
on its home screen.
The AVA Remote also delivers on the same contextual
awareness clients have come to know and expect of in the
Josh.ai experience. Once a remote is assigned to its proper
room, it will provide convenience for local accessibility
as well as universal control over a property's connected
devices, from shades to video streaming services.
Clients can also personalize their remote interface with
a unique background image, adding or removing the voice
button, and by setting it in kiosk mode for immediate access.
