many dealers have
experienced multiple price
increases from suppliers.
Those increases are being
passed along to clients, it
appears. At the same time,
the tight labor pool has
forced them to pay higher
wages in some circumstances,
which in turn has forced
many integrators to boost
their labor rates to clients
and add fuel surcharges.

installation to long-term
service-based resources for
their clients. The ability to
assist customers by remotely
monitoring (and repairing)
their systems, and at the
same time be as efficient
as possible when you have
to roll a truck, has opened
the door for dealers to offer
service agreements. Those
contracts, along with traditional
monitoring of security
systems, are now enabling
integrators to earn substantial
amounts of RMR.
