scale the supply chain situation
today versus this exact
time last year and why?
GARIJANIAN: We've
always been somewhat of a
" glass-half-full " mindset company,
so I would say better in
some ways because it feels like
we're all a bit more seasoned
and understand how we need
to purchase and take care
of our customers. Another
reason why our other channels
can help feed each other
during unpredictable times.
CE Pro: What is the most
important thing integrators
can do in terms of
their ordering, inventory,
etc., to improve their own
supply chain situation?
GARIJANIAN: Continue
to be proactive. This might
sound " salesy " but buy more.
If your amplifiers are on a
three-month back order it
would be best to not cancel
if you find them somewhere
else. Keep them on order
and have the opportunity in
the fall to finish more projects.
I think another positive
outcome with the supply
chain issues have been the
fact that most integrators
are much more prepared
and understanding with
delays and price hikes. I feel
for them though because
end users are probably not
as understanding. Finally,
continue to diversify and
differentiate your business.

resimercial, etc.? Now is the
perfect time to incorporate
that into your business.

CE Pro: What specific
procedures have you
implemented to help
alleviate the supply chain
crisis for integrators?
WALLY WHINNA: We
use our buying power to
maintain increased inventory
levels on key or constrained
items. In addition to our distribution
centers, we have 34
branch locations from which
we draw product. We either
transfer items for will call
to the integrator's nearest
branch, or we ship directly
to their place of business if
the item is not available in
the branch they transact
their business. Snap One has
implemented incremental
inventory buffers on our key
products in our proprietary
brands. Our supply chain
team meets daily with all of
our key manufacturers to
ensure seamless communication
and responsiveness to
emerging issues. These actions
allow us to continue to
keep products in stock when
our integrators need them.
CE Pro: Have you
implemented contactless
payment for integrators?
WHINNA: Most of our
transactions are contactless.
We provide our Partners
with open terms, or they
choose to keep a credit card
on file to use as remittance
for their purchases.
CE Pro: When do you
foresee the supply chain
crisis subsiding?
WHINNA: Supply chain
issues will likely continue
into 2023 for select products
depending upon component
availability.
CE Pro: How would you
scale the supply chain
situation today versus this
exact time last year and why?
WHINNA: We feel that
the situation is better than
last year, although the
current situation is heavily
dependent upon new and
changing global events.
CE Pro: What is the most
important thing integrators
can do in terms of
their ordering, inventory,

like Allnet see the supply
chain crisis easing a bit,
but global events can certainly
affect that status.
