Lutron Broadens
Ketra, Ivalo Fixture
Portfolios
Lighting giant debuts more affordable
lineups of fixtures offering integrators
greater flexibility to meet application
needs throughout a home.

JUST AS years ago Lutron
Electronics was the first to
guide the custom electronics industry into the
categories of lighting control
and motorized shades, the
company now aims to do the
same for the lighting fixture
category. The Coopersburg,
Pa.-based company is taking
that challenge on directly
with the introduction of an
expanded, more affordable
lighting portfolio for its Ivalo
and Ketra lines.
The new intelligent
lighting SKUs from Lutron
include static white, warm
dim and full spectrum with
coordinated luminaires and
lamps, which are all digitally
addressable and offer 0.1%
dimming capabilities. The
new offering significantly reduces the cost of entry and
includes solutions for every
application in the home,
according to the company.
" For nearly 30 years,
integrators have placed
their trust in Lutron with
widespread adoption of our

lighting control and intelligent shading solutions, " says

Lutron. " And now, as Lutron
continues to expand the
market for intelligent lighting,
integrators can once again
count on Lutron to help
them grow their business. "
With Ketra, Lutron is
focusing on broader, more
affordable architectural
lighting. With Ivalo, Lutron is
transitioning to a fully intelligent digitally addressable
solution within the HomeWorks platform, which means
integrators can have the
flexibility to install digitally
addressable fixtures within
the HomeWorks platform.

control, lighting, and shade,

opportunity for growth. We

complete portfolio across two
product lines: the Ivalo static
white or warm dim, and Ketra
full-spectrum lighting. With a
few tweaks, a few augmentations and a few additions, we
are really giving dealers the
opportunity to capture the
lighting opportunity in the
integrator channel. "
Adding to the Ketra and
Ivalo lighting portfolio are
several new products:
Ketra Lightbar Slim is a
low-voltage, custom-length
luminaire compatible with a
Lutron HomeWorks system.
The low-profile linear fixture
has a 0.65-x-0.65-inch (H
x W) cross section, and is
available in lengths starting
at 10 inches, configurable
in 1-inch increments. The
Lightbar Slim is well suited
for coves, under cabinets

and counters, archways or
stairwells, and details on
walls or ceilings. It can also
be integrated into furniture.
It will be available to order in
June and ship in August.
Ketra Lamp Solutions
include the new Ketra S30
lamp with a new round trim
designed to work with a
new-construction housing.
This lower-priced, premium Ketra downlight helps
integrators expand Ketra to
more spaces in a home. It
provides 0.1% full spectrum
lighting capabilities, and the
trim aesthetic provides a
coordinated look with Ketra
D3 Downlights. It will be
available to order in July and
ship in August.
In addition to the new
products, Lutron is announcing its Ketra Ready curated
group of lighting manufacturers that offer decorative
