easily program and rezone intelligent lighting in the Lutron
HomeWorks software.

fixtures provide 0.1% static
white and warm dim capabilities with a trim aesthetic

Digital technology embedded and there is a quick-ship
option for Finiré Prime. They
were slated to be available to
order in May and ship in July.

Logitech Officially Halts
Harmony Remote Line
LOGITECH has officially confirmed it has discontinued its
once-vaunted Harmony remote controls, including the line of Logitech Harmony Pro programmable remotes for custom installers.
" While Harmony remotes are and continue to be available
through various retailers, moving forward Logitech will no longer manufacture Harmony remotes, " says William Wong, customer experience manager at Logitech. " We expect no impact
to our customers by this announcement. We plan to support
our Harmony community and new Harmony customers, which
includes access to our software and apps to set up and manage
your remotes. "
Logitech plans to continue maintaining the Harmony database and software, and offer service and support. The discontinuation does not affect the operation or the warranty on any
Harmony remotes being used by integrators' clients already in
the field. The company says the decision does not affect a customer's ability to interface with the Harmony universal remotes
via their Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice controls.

Crestron Masters
Showcases Innovation,
New Flex Phone
NOW IN its 20th year, the 2021 version of Crestron Masters
was virtual in April with 50 unique training courses (100
sessions held overall) for sales, technical and programming,
with 23 Crestron product managers and 30 sales managers
on hand to guide the more than 2,800 session registrants
through the Rockleigh, N.J.-based company's latest products for both the residential and commercial markets.
New this year were focused sessions for sales associates
on the residential side. In all, according to Rich Sasson,
global director of technical services, more than 900 certified
Crestron Masters aimed to take part in the education.

On the product side of Crestron Masters, the company
bolstered its communications offerings by releasing the
Flex Phone.

Among the opening highlights was a keynote conversation with 5,000 virtual attendees moderated by Tim
Albright of AVNation with CEO Randy Klein, new executive
vice president of global marketing Brad Hintze, and executive vice president of product and technology Ranjan Singh.
Klein couldn't contain his excitement about sharing the
company's slate of new products with attendees in person
at CEDIA Expo and InfoComm later this year. When asked
what he expects from both in-person trade shows, Klein
quipped, " I expect to see a lot of smiles and a lot of energy. "
From the product standpoint, the big highlight is the release of Crestron Flex Phones, a new portfolio of Microsoft
Teams-certified desk phones for " organizations seeking a
dedicated collaboration experience for their employees. "
The Crestron Flex Phones " bring best-in-class audio and
videoconferencing capabilities, one-touch connectivity, and
enterprise-grade security, along with a host of additional
features to help users maximize productivity, " the company
announcement says.
