Snap One Acquires
Clare Controls
Exclusively distributing Clare Controls
since 2019, Snap One adds provider of
mid-level option between security panel
solutions and full home automation

BUILDING ON THE success
of its existing distribution
agreement, Snap One has
announced the acquisition of
Clare Controls, maker of the
ClareOne smart home and
security system. The acquisition
enables Snap One to
offer integrators value-added
control solutions across
broad budgets. Terms were
not disclosed.
Snap One first entered
into an exclusive distribution
partnership with Clare
Controls in 2019. It has since
become a go-to hybrid smart
home and security solution
for entry- to mid-level applications
for many of Snap
One's integrators.
According to Mike Jordan,
Snap One SVP of Control
and Entertainment, ClareOne
is a cornerstone in Snap
One's larger strategy, filling
the space between commonly
available security systems
and luxury whole-home
control solutions.

monthly revenue (RMR)

unified user experience for
onsite and remote access
to security, surveillance and
