Up Versatile M2 Video Unit
The M2 replaces homeowners' cable DVR. It plays and
records from streaming services, imports and plays
homeowners' 4K UHD Blu-rays, standard Blu-rays, DVDs
and music CDs, and it stores media in a digital library
that's upgradable from a rackmount, to a full 80TB. The
product features a built-in UHD 4K disk drive and it acts
as a server to extend its features throughout a home to
optional Mx1 Mini's.
The M2 records up to six programs at once and
includes a live TV program guide. It imports, and plays
home videos, photos and musical recordings. It upscales
content to 4K and includes functions like commercial skip
and universal search.

Snap One announced the introduction of the much-anticipated
line of Control4 handheld interfaces: the
Halo Family of Remotes. The two new models include
enhanced features like backlit buttons, a new graphical
interface, and dual-band Wi-Fi support, along with innovative
new features like a push-to-talk voice button. The
Halo Touch model features a premium brushed-aluminum
chassis and makes every function available through an
intuitive 3.2-inch customizable touchscreen. The Halo
Remote model features a slightly smaller 2.8-inch screen
that is navigable with hard buttons and provides full
access to connected subsystems.
