AIMS Announces
Board of Directors
Members for 2023

Alliance for IP
Media Solutions (AIMS)
has announced that,
this past November, it
re-elected all members
of the AIMS Board of Directors to serve another term this year.
Steve Reynolds of Imagine Communications will once again
serve as chair. Meanwhile, Terry Holton of Yamaha will continue
as AIMS' vice chair. The AIMS Board of Directors for this year also
includes chief financial officer Andreas Hilmer (Lawo), along with
Andrew Starks (Macnica) and Chuck Meyer (Grass Valley).
Their terms having started immediately, the board members,
in conjunction with AIMS partner associations, will continue their
ongoing work to foster a standards-based approach to IP in professional
media.
" Year after year, AIMS succeeds in bringing its diverse and growing
membership together to extend the boundaries of IP adoption
across broadcast and pro AV, " Reynolds says. " The connections I
have made with everyone on this board have proved just as steadfast
as our mission. I am eager to work with my colleagues in the
coming year and continue our momentum in enabling better and
broader access to more flexible IP-based media workflows. "
AVIXA Reveals 2023 Board of Directors and LSC Members

Board of Directors and Leadership Search Committee (LSC) elections.

AVIXA also thanked outgoing LSC chair and former chair of the
AVIXA Board of Directors, Jon Sidwick of Collabtech Group, and
outgoing Board members Tobias Lang of Lang AG and Alexandra
Rosen from GoDaddy. AVIXA also expressed appreciation on the
contributions of outgoing LSC members Susana Alvarez of Newtech
Solutions Multimedia SA, Cassie Berger of Shure Inc. and Bill
Fons of Promotion Technology Group (PTG).
Katie Smith Valle Joins Mediavue,
Serving as Executive VP, Global Sales
Mediavue, a Hingham, Mass.-based digital
media platform provider with more than 15
years in the industry, has named Katie Smith
Valle as executive VP, global sales. In this role,
Valle will advance revenue growth for the
company as it continues to expand upon its
turnkey platform for enterprise-scale signage

Jatan Shah, president and COO, QSC, has been elected as
secretary-treasurer of the Board of Directors by AVIXA members.
Also elected to the Board of Directors were Nyere Hollingsworth,
senior manager for collaboration and productivity, Grainger,
and Dorothy Di Stefano, founder and director, Molten Immersive
Art. The LSC also appointed Brad Sousa, CTO, AVI Systems, and
Bren Walker, partner and founding principal of integrated systems
design, Kirkegaard, to AVIXA's Board of Directors.
Mike Brandes, senior product marketing manager of Q-SYS
video solutions, QSC, has been elected by AVIXA members to the
LSC. Sam Phenix, chair of the Board of Directors, has also appointed
Monique Rezaei, director, Americas channel sales, Microsoft
Teams Rooms devices, Microsoft, and Graeme Harrison, vice

and communications networks.
Over 18-some years, Valle has worked with AV integrators, content
management software vendors and AV technology suppliers.
In so doing, she has continually demonstrated the ability to deliver
value through thoughtfully designed, deployed and managed IT
infrastructure. Additionally, Valle understands how vendors can work
alongside AV integrators to decrease operating overhead and, at the
same time, delivering the best possible end-customer experience.
