Learning in 2021 and Beyond
Wellness-asa-Service
IF
THE PAST YEAR has taught us anything, it is
that customers and their employees appreciate
when health and safety is taken seriously.
As the wellness industry tops $4.3 trillion
worldwide, wellness technology helps drive
the message that organizations care about
their employees. Integrators can capitalize
on this explosion of wellness technology by
building it into their off erings.
The wellness category is a serious growth
opportunity for integrators. As
tangential technology like IoT
sensors, VoIP, and more have
entered an integrator's basic
off erings, I think that wellness
could be a similar area that
seems outside an integrator's
purview at fi rst glance but actually
makes a ton of sense for
integrators to look into.
Think of soundscapes that
provide an extra layer of soothing
sound to employees in an
open offi ce.
Think of the automated light
commercial wellness market through the lens
of all disciplines of design and technology.
The site, along with newsletter, webcasts
and downloads, will feature need-to-know and
inspiring content curated to arm integrators
with the information they need to provide their
clients with inventive wellness solutions.
It will also be the place for integrators to connect
and engage with the design community,
both on the commercial and residential side.

That's just what integrators are doing right
now that fi t into wellness initiatives. Consider
all of the technology still out there, untapped,
that can be built into new space designs. The
only question is where to integrators start?

Challenges like remote work and
learning arose for the fi rst time in many
organizations, and at an organizationwide
scale, because of the COVID-19
pandemic. Integrators are keenly aware
of how diffi cult the sudden transition to
distance work and learning has been.
While integrators are starting to see
an infl ux of projects for organizations
readying to move back to an offi ce
environment, they're also learning
that customers are facing a new set of
challenges. Each organization must
decide for themselves what their
workstyle will look like moving forward.
In a webinar presented by Lencore,
Commercial Integrator will host a panel
discussion of end user technology
managers to discuss the possibilities and
challenges of the new workplace.

The pandemic
brought distance
learning to the
top of the priority
list for both K-12
and higher ed
institutions. Many
new lessons were
learned over the
past year and as
we head into summer of 2021, these
organizations will be setting a longer-term
plan around the role of distance learning.
Our new guide " Distance Learning:
2021 Special Report " highlights the
results of our audience surveys and helps
paint a picture for the coming year.
It covers a number of topics, including:
› Average number of distance learning
projects
› Distance learning revenue trends
