CONTINUING CARE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY

Located in West Columbia, S.C., Still Hopes
Episcopal Retirement Community offers an
engaged and inclusive Life Plan Community
for the greater Columbia area. The campus is
continually adding new offerings for residents
to live with freedom and peace of mind, as well
as services ranging from home maintenance
to personalized medical care.
The final two phases of Still Hopes' longrange
redevelopment master plan was to
construct a new skilled nursing/assisted living
building (Phase 1 or Greenway) followed by a
new independent living building (Phase 2 or
HopeWell) - with both phases geared toward
supporting the community's long-term viability.
Residents of Greenway Neighborhoods
have access to the dedicated amenities
designed with specific levels of care in mind
- including the Shearouse Center for Wellness,
Main Street Salon, Gourmet Coffee
Shops, and more. Each neighborhood also
enjoys its own dedicated Sunroom, Den,
Activity Center, Strength & Flexibility Studio
and Family Room.
The HopeWell Apartments offer 80 independent
living units and seven floorplans featuring
ten-foot ceilings, granite countertops
in kitchens and bathrooms, stainless steel
appliances, large walk-in master showers,
walk-in closets, and patios or balconies.
Both phases of the project focused directly
on how the built environment and interior
finishes would enhance resident quality of life.
The Greenway embodies the elegance that
Still Hopes residents expect, while creating
open, nurturing, and inspirational environments
to accommodate each resident's
enhanced care needs. And the HopeWell is
built off the " Dimensions of Wellness " philosophy,
with specific attention to the Emotional/
Mental, Environmental, Intellectual, Physical,
Social, and Spiritual dimensions.
