Aiming High Our 2022 Design Champions are going above and beyond to design senior living environments that answer the complex needs of both residents and staff by Jennifer Kovacs Silvis E ACH YEAR, Environments for Aging sets out to fi nd individuals who are working hard to infl uence the evolution of senior living design and celebrate them in our Design Champions program. Th e goal is to recognize eff orts that make a meaningful diff erence in the lives of residents and staff as well as the greater community environment. Frequently, those eff orts might take place in the background-a research project or push for regulatory change-but can send ripples through projects and the sector as a whole. In this, our fourth annual Design Champions awards, we celebrate three individual eff orts and-for the fi rst time-a group award goes to a team of four. I'm certain you'll fi nd them as inspiring as we did.
