Nourison was founded over 40 years ago and is a vertically-integrated family business and one of the most successful fl ooring manufacturers spanning residential, retail, licensing and hospitality markets. What differentiates you from your competitors? In hospitality we try to approach design holistically and ask " what else can we do to step it up a notch " ? Many of our competitors make good products, but our designs, together with our unique and proprietary product enhancements, are a signifi cant point of diff erentiation that not all mills can achieve. We also have the largest design archive of any fl ooring company and the ability to leverage successful consumer products designs from our other operating divisions. What can we expect product-wise from your company in the year ahead? We have heightened our digital reach to Executive Vice President of Hospitality customers with an increased frequency of design collections that we can interpret across a wide-range of our product platforms. In addition to new collections, we will be adding more program rugs to meet the high-level of demand for textile coverage over hard surfaces. What are the challenges you're facing? How do you overcome those obstacles? Fortunately, our business has continued to grow and prosper even during these diffi cult times. Perhaps our greatest challenge has been successfully managing the growth. We have been adding resources in our mills and distribution centers as well as talented new team members. What's one of the greatest business lessons learned? I'd say conducting ourselves with honesty and dignity and always trying to over-deliver for our customers.
