T01: Ochsner Center for Nursing and Allied
Health - Delgado Community College
This facility houses a core of teaching spaces,
ranging from traditional lecture halls to advanced
labs for detailed simulation of healthcare
delivery environments. The center's classrooms,
skills labs, debriefi ng rooms, faculty offi ces, and
administrative suites are interspersed with virtual
hospital spaces that provide high-fi delity simulation
learning of actual care procedures.
T02: Ochsner Medical Complex - Clearview
Ochsner Health converted a 185,000-square-foot
big-box retail store into a super clinic. The tour will
include the fi rst-fl oor therapy gym, retail pharmacy,
optometry, and imaging services as well as the preand
post-operating areas, patient rooms, and endoscopy
procedure space on the second fl oor. The third
fl oor focus will be on multispecialty clinic design.
T03: West Jefferson Medical Center
Strategic Projects
This tour will highlight the major projects and phases
of a fi ve-year strategic plan at West Jefferson Medical
Center. It includes the emergency department, intensive
care unit, endoscopy unit, ambulatory surgery
center, main and outpatient entrances, and seven
renovated fl oors within the medical center's largest
patient tower.
