will return with live and on-demand sessions
addressing the knowledge, design ideas and tips to

his summer, the industry is still moving forward at an incredible
pace. I've just returned from a family vacation to Florida, where
nearly every neighborhood street we drove through had lots with
new-home construction. Many of my neighbors here in Virginia are
busy with remodeling projects, renovating their kitchens, bathrooms
and outdoor living areas. Th ere are similar signs of robust housing
and remodeling progress throughout the U.S. With historically low interest
rates and clients spending more time at home, there is strong demand as
nearly every professional in the design and building industry continued to
be tremendously busy.
With September upon us, we turn from summer trips to getting ready
for KBIS 2022. Now more than ever, we are looking forward to getting
back together, face to face, at the National Kitchen & Bath Association's
(NKBA) Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) - along with the National
Association of Home Builders' (NAHB) International Builders' Show (IBS)
- together again at Design & Construction Week® (DCW) 2022 next Feb.
8-10, in Orlando.
Do you recall the last time you attended KBIS? You saw amazing exhibits
with cool new products your customers would drool over. You sat in on
some educational sessions and learned something new that helped your
business and your career. You met colleagues and peers at networking events
sharing cold beverages. You had dinner with manufacturers and industry

es, cabinetry, fi xtures, hardware, plumbing, surfaces
and vanities from top brands, KBIS '22 will feature
today's trends in lighting, luxury, outdoor living,
smart technology and wellness in product pavilions
and special events on the show fl oor.
It's been four years since KBIS was last held in
Orlando, and much has changed to further improve
the show experience. Th e Orange County
Convention Center (OCCC) and local hotels
have renovated, numerous restaurants and attractions
have been added to the International
Drive convention corridor, and the " Center of
Hospitality " has already successfully hosted tens
of thousands of event attendees since last summer.
KBIS attendees can be assured that the
OCCC will be a healthy and safe environment
for all, given its Global Biorisk Advisory Council
(GBAC) STARTM
rating for cleanliness and
disinfection protocols.
