THIS YEAR'S JUDGES

THESE DAYS, CONSUMERS ARE TAKING stock of their homes and craving
spaces that serve their needs better than ever before. We've had the chance
to figure out what really works and what doesn't in the most used rooms in
the house - our kitchens and bathrooms - and today's brands are paying
attention.
This year's winners include a curated mix of products that fulfill specific
needs, provide more function and add a dash of beauty to our residences.
Some of these innovations cater to the growing desire to entertain and cook
at home, which may require more specialized appliances, and some are all
about refreshing colors inspired by nature and a brighter outlook.
Some of the winning products respond to the growing need for healthier
and hygienic choices, and self-cleaning offerings are all the rage because they
take some of the grunt work out of maintaining a home. And still others fulfill
specific industry needs that weren't being met before, providing solutions to
everyday annoyances and offering major improvements.
We are delighted to announce KBB's 2021 Product Award winners. Our
esteemed panel of judges - made up of renowned designers from the U.S.
and Canada - chose our coveted Kitchen and Bath Product of the Year, as
well as category winners in appliances, plumbing fixtures, surfacing, hardware
and accessories and technology. They also selected five Judges' Picks, with one
choice taking the top spot.

Tammy Bolden is an interior designer
who believes everyone deserves to live and
work in a space that reflects their needs.
Her design philosophy is that lifestyle is the
inspiration and foundation for successful design, and her
business philosophy is to make interior design accessible to
anyone. She launched Bold Interior Designs LLC in 2010,
and her timeless designs are influenced by her love of art,
history and culture. Bolden is a member of the American
Society of Interior Designers and the National Kitchen
& Bath Association (NKBA). She is also a member of the
Essex Hudson Chapter of Jack and Jill of America Inc.
Nar Bustamante, president and principal
designer of Nar Design Group in Sacramento,
Calif., was born in Mexico City
and raised in San Francisco. His travels
throughout Europe, North Africa and North America
have played an influential role in his appreciation for art,
culture and amazing architecture. These cornerstones,
along with his own clients' artwork, provide the everlasting
inspiration for his international award-winning
and publicized designs. Only bound by his imagination,
Bustamante has influenced design, producing some of the
most sought-after projects with his take on luxury modern,
eclectic and innovative projects - never leaving room for
predictability. He is a member of the NKBA and serves
on KBB's Editorial Advisory Board.
Thibault Lerailler is the founder and creative
director of Montreal-based Punctuate
Design, an industrial and product design
studio founded in 2019. Since 2012, he has
been working in Paris, Hong Kong, New York and Montreal.
Lerailler and his team work with both startups and
established companies looking for collaborative design
processes with a focus on user experience and sustainability.
Having designed 30+ innovative products, he understands
the need to create a high-value offering and the challenge
to bring a new one to the market. He helps purpose-driven
companies design physical and digital products that have
a positive impact on our planet.
Rebecca West is not only CEO of the
Seattle-based residential design company
Seriously Happy Homes, international author
of the book " Happy Starts at Home, "
and host of the podcast " Creating Your Happy Place, "
but she also provides business coaching to her fellow residential
interior designers and serves on the board of the
Heritage Design School. She can't resist a costume party
or a cat video and has a weakness for Oreos, Taco Bell and
Scotch whiskey. She's been featured everywhere from
Seattle Magazine and Success Magazine to Bustle and
the Wall Street Journal, but the easiest place to find her is
on Instagram @beseriouslyhappy. West is also a member
of the NKBA.
