Show Areas and Programming
NKBA Global Connect. Th ree activations will take place to connect international
Global Connect subscribers - Delegation Tours, the NKBA Global
Connect Pavilion and the NKBA German Pavilion in partnership with
AMK and Koelnmesse. Both pavilions are positioned in the South Hall.
DESIGNHOUNDS
Modenus Media Designhounds return to KBIS
2022 for their 10th anniversary at the show. From a design infl uencer network
of more than 600 active members, 15 VIPs will be invited to attend
the show, covering KBIS exhibits and programming. A select number of
exhibiting brands will also be invited to sponsor the Designhounds, ensuring
coverage and visits by the group. Coverage will appear on the Modenus
Media and Designhounds social media and blog platforms.
KBISNEXT STAGE
In the South Hall, the NKBA Presents KBISNeXT
Stage will showcase the industry's latest trends and insights shared by leading
kitchen and bath experts. Programming includes DesignBites and a series
of engaging new panel discussions on hot industry topics like smart tech,
luxury, social media, lighting, new business models and revenue streams,
responsible design, wellness and societal shifts impacting our country.
WELLNESS PAVILION
Wellness- and health-focused products continue to be a burgeoning trend
in the industry. KBIS is leading the charge by featuring new and exciting
wellness products and education, covering themes like biophilia, technology
and lighting in the South Hall.
DISCOVERY DISTRICT
Head to the South Hall to experience the expanded
Discovery District and see the latest products from emerging and international
brands. At the center of the Discovery District, you'll fi nd the Discovery
District Lounge - a place to sit down, relax, recharge and network.
DCW OUTDOOR LIVING PAVILION
Located inside on the show fl oor (South Hall), fi nd a collection
of new products for grilling, entertaining and living well
in a home's outdoor space. Th e Outdoor Living Pavilion is a
shared exhibit between KBIS and IBS, highlighting some of
what's best in outdoor living.
ICFF PAVILION
Th e ICFF Pavilion in the South Hall brings together brands
that feature authentic and contemporary design and highend
manufacturing. It will be focused on kitchen- and bath-specifi c brands
including fi xtures, hardware, basins, tubs and vanities, as well as furniture,
seating, fl ooring, lighting, materials and accessories.
NKBA GLOBAL CONNECT
Th e ongoing mission to assist international brands
that are not currently doing business in North America is the purpose of
DESIGN MILK X MODENUS TALKS LOUNGE
A Collaboration Between Design Milk and
Modenus Media
Returning to KBIS for a fi fth year, the Design Milk X
Modenus Talks Lounge (#dmmtalks) will be located
in South Hall near the ICFF Pavilion. For 2022,
#dmmtalks will focus on engaging presentations
and conversations around design business, social
media monetization, global design trends and, new
for 2022, BrandTalks - 15-minute, rapid-fi re interviews
with exhibitors and attending design VIPs.
DESIGNBITES
Which brand has the " biggest
bite " in the kitchen
and bath industry? Now in its seventh year,
DesignBites showcases unique product innovations
and designs on the KBISNeXT Stage.
Billed as " speed dating for brands, " 10 exhibitors
get the opportunity to share their message
in a refreshing, entertaining way. Each
brand has three minutes to pitch, followed by
a two-minute Q&A. Darren Keefe, the dancing
carpenter from HGTV and Discovery+,
will host this high-energy event.
UNCORKED
KBIS Uncorked VIP
Influencer event returns
to welcome industry infl uencers
including media, design pros and social
media stars, to hear, learn, reconnect and
network. KBIS Uncorked provides a
sole sponsoring brand the opportunity
to host the event as well as participate in
programming. Th e event will be hosted
in the sponsor booth.
KICKSTARTER ZONE
New to KBIS 2022, the Kickstarter Zone will
host new-to-market brands that have been in the residential design and
construction business less than three years and have never exhibited at KBIS.
