s we wrap up 2021 and prepare for the holidays, we refl ect upon what
we're grateful for as well as the success and trials we've had throughout
the year. I'm especially thankful for my family, friends and the many
exceptional colleagues I have the pleasure of working with at Emerald
and NKBA. Who and what are you thankful for? I think it may be
the terrifi c clients, contractors, suppliers and manufacturers who have
enabled your businesses to thrive this year. We are so fortunate to have
such a dynamic industry that continues to grow and evolve in so many ways.
In many respects, 2021 will be a year we won't soon forget - the COVID
pandemic continued to rage on with the rise of Delta variant cases over the
summer, vaccines were widely deployed saving countless lives, and all the
while business continued to fl ourish with record levels of home construction,
renovations and remodeling projects across the U.S. As COVID cases are
rapidly declining across the country and travel is resuming in earnest, we are
getting more excited for the return of the in-person KBIS event next Feb.
