What have you found to be most valuable about your NEWH involvement, both personally
and professionally?
Being involved with NEWH has been an incredible opportunity in so many ways. I've been able to get
more involved with the students who will be the future of our industry, and it's exciting to be able to
support this next generation of designers. It's also allowed me to develop my network and build closer
relationships with other people in the industry in a personal and professional capacity.
Why do you recommend people get involved with NEWH?
The firm that I work for, Stonehill Taylor, always recommends that people get involved with organizations
like NEWH, particularly for opportunities to network and participate in continued education programs.
What is your proudest recent NEWH accomplishment?
Overall my accomplishments with NEWH have included being more involved on a national level in my title
as the director of social media and last year as the New York chapter president. Another really exciting
accomplishment is that Stonehill Taylor was honored by NEWH as a TopID recipient.

What are you most looking forward to?
Now that travel is starting to pick up again, I'm looking forward to reconnecting with people at industry
events, like the upcoming 2022 NEWH Leadership Conference in Seattle.
What would people be interested to know about your company?
There's so much about Stonehill Taylor that makes it a standout in the industry. It was one of the first
firms to provide both full architecture and interior design services for the hospitality sector. Additionally,
I think it's really cool that every one of our projects is developed through narrative design, so there's a
strong storyline that is carried from concept through construction that's totally unique to the project.
Where do you find inspiration, both inside and outside the industry?
One of the reasons I enjoy networking so much is that it gives me the opportunity to connect with people
from around the country and draw inspiration from their unique experiences. I've also spent much more
time outside in nature over the past year. Figuring out how to bring that openness and greenery into our
projects has been a fun challenge.
When you aren't working or at an NEWH event, where can we find you?
Probably at the dog park! ❙❘❚
