CHAPTER HIGHLIGHTS
Atlantic City-Philadelphia Region
Striking Out for Scholarship was the region's first in-person event for 2022 where the community of architects, designers, finishes representatives, and students came
together to support the group's student members. It celebrated its 2021 NEWH scholarship winner, Grace Schuler, a high-achieving student in Drexel University's Hospitality
Management program.
Spring Sips was the region's informal happy hour networking series, where it brought together the local hospitality community. At each event, an industry sponsor generously
donated a yearly membership to the organization and various gifts that were raffled to guests.
Mentoring Connections was an in-person event that connected design students with Philadelphia hospitality design leaders. During the session the student chose a topic of
interest such as portfolio review, a " day in the life, " or review samples of current projects, the process, or construction administration.
