Remembering Shannon Wilson Rider
Shannon Wilson Rider passed last October in Boston after a short illness. Born in Cisco, Texas, Rider attended Tarleton State
University where she completed a degree with honors in English. She was in the first cast and crew of the newly renovated
Granbury Opera House and went on to earn her master's degree in performing and costume design from Trinity University through
its aff iliation with the Dallas Theater Center, where she worked and performed.
Rider made her home in Dallas and worked as a sales rep in the interior design industry for several years, going on to build her own
successful business, the Rider Group, that flourished for almost a decade. She would say though her greatest accomplishment was
her daughter, Hillary. Although Hillary was an only child, Shannon had many she brought under her wing who would consider her to
be their mother. Caring, loving, generous, and hilarious, she loved her two " small, bad dogs " Mitzi and Cassidy.

Rider is survived by her daughter, Hillary and husband Mike Letourneau; mother, Nettie Wilson; sister, Victoria and husband David
Peloubet; nieces and nephews, Alex and Keshia Peloubet, Brynn Peloubet; Phillip and Annmarie Peloubet; and Anna and Hunter
Wheatcraft.

1. Ariston Hospitality and Motivo Furniture,
Ariston's inline seating division, announce that
Tripp Barrett has been named national sales
manager for both companies.
2. The Cornerstone Collective announces
that Joanne Gravina has been named senior
interior designer.
3. New York-based construction and
development services firm CNY Group has
promoted former vice president of strategic
growth, AnaTracey Hawkins, to senior vice
president of strategic growth.
4. Jennifer Fleming (center), interior design
principal and major shareholder at Rice Fergus
Miller Architecture & Design, off icially
celebrated 15 years at the firm in November. The
company also announces that interior designer
Jamie Hysell has off icially passed her NCIDQ
exams, and interior designer Kenya JonesLowell
was selected as one of Boutique Design
magazine's Boutique 18 rising design stars in
2021.
5. Ashli Moriarty has joined Fabric Innovations
as a new sales representative, covering Georgia,
Alabama, and Mississippi.
6. Jessica Kendrick-marketing director of
the NEWH Atlanta chapter and A&D rep for
BCA Hospitality, representing manufacturers
including Kimball Hospitality, Fabtex, and Encore
Hospitality Flooring-recently became engaged
and plans to marry Brett Schoenberg next year.
7. EE Sewing announces the addition of Greg
Zugmier to its team as director of branding and
business development.
