Soul Trak serves a wide age range
of underengaged groups from
urban youth, college students, and
professional-level urban residents
in many outdoor activities like
hiking, climbing, paddling, biking,
and more.
Roy Tuscany
Freeskier Roy Tuscany fractured
his T12 vertebrae during
a training run at age 24, leaving
him paralyzed from the waist
down. The incredible encouragement
and support he received
during his recovery allowed him
to return to the slopes 52 days
later and inspired him to create
the nonprofit High Fives Foundation.
High Fives focuses on
preventing life-changing injuries
and providing resources and
hope if they happen. Post-spinal
cord injury, Tuscany experienced
firsthand the need for
adaptive-sports programs and
services for injured athletes, and
now he leads High Fives with a
pay-it-forward mindset.

Monserrat Alvarez
Matehuala
Monserrat Alvarez Matehuala is
a community activist, outdoor
educator, ambassador, climber,
and mentor to women of color in
the outdoor industry. She works
with brands and organizations to
lead powerful conversations about
diversity and inclusivity in the
outdoors. Matehuala is part of the
national founding team for Brown
Girls Climb, and she works to build
community with organizations
including Women's Wilderness and
Latino Outdoors.
Kay Rodriguez
Kay Rodriguez is founder and CEO

Bonie Shupe
Bonie Shupe is general manager
of merino apparel brand Ibex.
Moving from designer to brand
leader, she took on the challenge
of reviving a brand with a 20-year
legacy while driving it forward in
the industry, leading the charge
for ethical and sustainable apparel,
and amplifying the message
to buy less, buy better. An elite
mountain athlete, Bonie has a love
for the industry that is rooted in
a desire to create better products
for adventures. She is committed
to sustainable production and to
guiding a reborn Ibex, her team,
and the community to reach their
full potential.
