Brivo to Go Public
Through SPAC Deal
▶ BETHESDA, Md. - Brivo has reached an
agreement with Crown PropTech Acquisitions,
a special purpose acquisition company
(SPAC), to go public via a deal that
gives the combined entity a roughly $808
million enterprise value.
Founded in 1999 by Steve Van Till, an
SSI Industry Hall of Fame inductee, Brivo
supplies software-as-a-service (SaaS) access
management services and connected
devices to enterprises and property owners.
The deal would provide Brivo with up
to $304 million in capital, according to an
announcement. Brivo expects to make
$417 million in revenue and an annualized
$290 million in annual recurring revenue
in 2025.
The merger would allow Brivo to leverage
the relationships of Crown Acquisitions,
an owner and operator of commercial real
estate, as Brivo tries to expand its business,
the companies say. Brivo's management
team, including Van Till, COO John Szczygiel,
CFO Mike Voslow and CTO Jeff Nielsen,
will continue to operate and manage the
combined entity. Dean Drako, who acquired
Brivo in 2015, will continue to serve as the
company's chairman of the board.

to Enter Solar Business
▶ BOCA RATON, Fla. - ADT has signed
an agreement to acquire Sunpro Solar for
$160 million in cash plus approximately
77.8 million shares of ADT common stock,
implying a total enterprise value of approximately
$825 million. The deal is subject
to certain adjustments.
ADT will rebrand Sunpro to ADT Solar
and enter the rooftop solar business to offer
ADT customers a protected, connected
and now powered home.

NSI Buys Fiber Infrastructure
Specialist TechLogix
▶ HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. - NSI Industries,
a leading provider of electrical product
solutions and parent company of Platinum
Tools, has acquired TechLogix Networx, a
fi ber optic and collaboration technology
manufacturer.
The acquisition, for undisclosed terms,
will help NSI support its distributors and
their clients transition from copper-based
solutions into the fi ber optic technologies,
according to an announcement.

Wis.-based TechLogix is a
leading brand in the emerging fi ber optic
and collaboration technology segments.
The company says it has pioneered technology
to simplify fi ber optic installation
and migrate buildings into a high-defi nition,
