▶ LAS VEGAS - ADT introduced the
ADT+ app at CES 2023 as part of a
new fully integrated product ecosystem.
ADT customers will now be able to access
and control their ADT devices, including
a base, keypad, motion sensors,
door and window sensors, smart bulbs,
smart locks and smoke/CO detectors, as
well as compatible Google Nest Cams,
Doorbell and Thermostats, through an
intuitive app experience.
The new ADT+ app allows self-setup
for DIY customers and seamlessly integrating
multiple smart devices with professional
monitoring and proactive mobile
alert capabilities. In addition to the new
app, which will be available beginning in
February, there will be a new line of ADT
home security products to be released later
this year.

Partner Store Schedule
▶ CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Snap One announces that it will soon
launch its 40th Local Partner Store as part of an aggressive
schedule of eight grand openings between September 2022
and March 2023.
Following years of successful growth across the U.S. and
Canada, the company says it is also planning to streamline operations
in 2023 by listing all stores under the Snap One Partner
Store Brand name for the first time and consolidating all
online ordering under Snap One's unified e-commerce portal.
According to Wally Whinna, SVP of Snap One, the new locations
planned through March 2023 will expand the distributor's
physical footprint to 41 total locations across the U.S., with
each location hosting a grand opening that will feature special
deals on select products, giveaways, catered lunches and opportunities
to meet with various vendors in attendance.

ADT says.
Six of the new stores have launched or will launch under the
official Snap One Partner Store name, and all Partner Stores
will officially switch to the name in 2023. The company also
announced it will consolidate online ordering into a single web
portal, improving ordering efficiency by eliminating the separate
portals that remain from Snap One's acquisitions of MRI,
AllNet, Volutone and CPD.
Brinks to Halt Google Nest
Secure System Monitoring
▶ DALLAS - In a letter to its monitoring customers, Brinks
Home has announced it will eventually no longer monitor
Google Nest Alarm Systems. Brinks Home will officially end
professional monitoring of those systems on Dec. 31, 2023.
Google stopped producing the Nest Secure system in October
2020 but continues to support its users. Current owners will be
able to continue to use the system with self-monitoring.
