between ADT and Google, ADT has announced the availability
of the company's first fully integrated smart home
security system billed for DIY customers. The ADT Self
Setup system integrates Google Nest smart home products
with ADT security and life safety technology as well as
ADT SMART monitoring - all controllable through the new
ADT+ app.
Pulling from ADT and Google portfolios, the ADT Self
Setup system can be ordered preconfigured and ready to be
deployed out of the box or customized to match customer
preferences.
The starter package includes an ADT Smart Home Hub,
one Nest Doorbell (battery), four ADT door & window sensors,
and two ADT motion sensors. The premium system
adds a Nest Hub (2nd Gen). The Build Your Own system
includes the ADT Smart Home Hub and enables customers
