elcome to the Refresh issue! I'm so excited to debut Balance's brand
new look, and we hope you love it as much as we do! Life presents us
with ample opportunity to give new energy to something and gain fresh
perspective. With that in mind, ask yourself this: what is, or isn't, serving
me anymore? Consider yourself the CEO of your life, and then take the necessary steps to
align your behaviour with your purpose.
Talking of purpose, the aim of this year's Mental Health Awareness Week (13-19 May) is
to shine a spotlight on what we think and feel about our bodies. Body image is not simply
what we see in the mirror. It is closely linked to our mental health and can be the cause
of distress for anyone: 25 per cent of those affected by an eating disorder in the UK today
are male. Let's be kind and responsible to ourselves and each other, both on and offline.
